Forgot about that, I too feel it was a fluke, the rematch proved it I guess, I dont think he would have ever beat Fedor or Nog in their prime in rematches tho but no shame there, Cro-cop did amazing in MMA for a striker even tho he got a blue belt in BJJ & practised wrestling.

You missed part of my thread title out, it actually says `Boxing fans who think all MMA fighters cant throw hands... what about this guy ?`

Then I showed Belfort... there are other good strikers, both with hands & feet but Ive heard many people say NO MMA guys can throw hands so I showed a quick Belfort vid - there`s actually longer clips but sometimes people wont watch if its too long, thats another reason I didnt waste my time putting up multiple MMA fighters with the thread title `Boxing fans who think all MMA fighters cant throw hands... what about these guys ?`

    Melvin Manhoef mother ****ers!

There's a reason why they call him the Tyson of MMA.

The man punches so god damn hard for his weight.

He's knocking out guys in K-1 and MMA who are way bigger than he is.

He's blessed with the same level of power that you see in some of boxing's biggest punchers.

Hopefully one day he'll fight Anderson Silva and i'll be a bag of nerves for that one! :yep

    That was no fluke.

Randleman is quite possibly one of the most gifted athletes if not the most gifted athlete to ever fight in MMA.

Except he lacks mentality to go along with it.

Randleman KOing him was no fluke.

Anybody can throw hands against someone who doesnt have any defense. Imagine those hands being thrown against the likes of PBF (p4p, obviously not h2h) and James Toney (the slimmer version). He wouldnt land one shot.

 Vitor would kill Mayweather if he was able to throw those shots against someone not throwing back.

Im sorry. I love Mayweather but Vitor is too big and fast and strong to let him just free throw at Mayweather.

I laugh at the 'he'd get schooled any decent boxer' comments.

    Nooooo you don't ****in say.......
He isn't a boxer and to point out that he'd get schooled by a professional boxer is ridiculous.

All the thread points out is that he has good hands, which he does.

Yea. Two different styles of striking.

If Vitor trained boxing all his life. He would probably be very good. His striking is amazing at the MMA level where you have to protect against other things but if he only did boxing. .. Oh oby.

It still does'nt change the fact that the man punches like a truck and is exciting as hell.

Like a lot of murderous punchers Melvin does'nt have the best of chin's.

Vitor is a bust when its all said and done. If things dont go his way in the first round, forget about it. He will ****in fold. Its happened more times than I can count. Theres a reason him and Randleman are two of the biggest underachievers in the sports history. At least Randleman tries, he just never evolved, training with Marc Coleman his whole career. Vitor is just a ****in headcase and everyone knows it. He'll do fine in the smaller shows but if its an important fight, folds like a lawn chair. Not very big in the heart department and his stamina BLOWS..
