Why is it that the same fans who break their neck to tag someone they have any tenuous link to in status or tweet on social media if they have a fight against a journeyman so people are aware they "know" a boxer, and will laud a 39-38 win in the same bout as class etc are the first to jump on the chinny/ducker/fraud bandwagon for boxers who have pushed on and achieved something at world level? Or label their friend who cornered a white collar boxer the next Freddie Roach while busy advising world level coaches how they should do their job I cannot understand the mentality of constantly slating our fighters/coaches for any little thing, rather than celebrating the fact they've done well. Every one of these top fighters/coaches was a novice with a dream at one point and act as an inspiration to those starting out on their journey. Just my opinion of course

yeah there are good posters on here chief ... just the trolls tend to shout louder and more often than them... the hate for boxers and trainers that take time to visit the site is just shocking. Although it does seem to have calmed down a fair bit with the racist posts which is good, maybe the mods have opened their eyes a little?
Agree not quite so many posts descend into idle threats, name calling as previously. I'd suggest a few must have been banned. Some good and knowledgeable people on but like you say their very easy to miss in between 15-20 comments off topic about meeting up for this or that or just generally insulting boxers
As soon as I read the words 'ducked', 'coward' and 'bum' used to describe someone brave enough to step into the ring and dedicated enough to train as a professional, I move swiftly on and immediately disregard.
Especially in the light of last week's tragic events you'd think it would maybe tone down. Whatever the level there are huge risks involved for anyone getting in there and at the very least that deserves a level of respect
