Boxing fixed fights? Ricky burns vs jose

He had never been more than ten rounds,which led me to bet on a stoppage between 10-12 alongside a points win for Burns,so I knew there was a chance he would toil,especially with the big KO ratio and lack of rounds.
(And it should've been ruled a RTD10!!)

Mikey Garcia quit when he had the chance because he was winning and knew it would go to the cards.Gonzales had nothing left and knew Ricky would be all over him for the KO.
He chose to remain seated,but of course the hate for Ricky Burns means that bull**** threads like this were inevitable.
Why can't people who hate him accept that even us fans know he got out of jail last night.It was a poor performance and he still won.A bit like when Lennox beat Vitali.

The guy just stopped fighting and quit.

He didnt look injured to me, Burns certainly didnt beat the man on pace and certainly not on ability. Burns could do nothing.

Seems to me that Gonzales , even at a slow pace can easily beat burns with a jab alone.

Yet he just stopped everything and gave up.

Real dodgy imo

 

If you look at the RBR thread, I made a number of posts, in the last couple of rounds that Gonzelez was spent.

You could see him corner desperately rubbing his legs to get some life back in them. They knew he was done.

He had never been thatb distance before, he broke his wrist/hand,and just could go on.

His stamina was clearly atrocious.
