Bump bump. Some more news. Last week they showed some highlights of the Vazquez-Marquez IV fight, also the weigh in as well.

Just now they talked about Vitali dominating Sosnowski, and how 60,000 showed up to watch the fight.

Whats funny to me is that everyone..lol I mean everyone that is a commentator for other sports use boxing references.. LOL @ Mark Jackson. There are a lot of dudes coming back to boxing as of late.

In Montreal the sports radio shows talk boxing pretty often. Now that hockey is done, boxing is pretty much it.

Today I turned on the radio and it was an interview with Eric Lucas, who btw is celebrating his 39th birthday today and was happy that he gave a good show against Andrade despite losing, and is definately retiring

I've noticed ESPN putting boxing results on their news ticker and showing highlights way more than usual.

They showed the results of Roman Martinez, and Wilfredo Vasquez Jr's fights on their ticker tonight.... which is something they wouldn't bother showing a year ago.

In UK boxing feels almost mainstream, it just gets overshadowed like all other sports by the football. Football just seems to take priority. May vs Pac could fight in june and have the best fight ever seen but chances of it getting much mainstream coverage during june would be very small. In UK atleast

ESPN is still the biggest sports outlet and if they promote boxing other networks will follow. Great PBF commerical in ESPN w/ Brian Kenny.

It was, because of the success of the Pac/Cotto/Hatton/Mayweather fights.... but ill be damned if boxing isnt doing everything it can to ONCE AGAIN kill itself... it wouldnt suprise me if the mainstream once again sees how ******ed boxing can be and go back to sucking off the UFC.
