I will start it off, Sonny Liston and George Foreman of 1973. That duo would be deadly.

I'll go with the Sugar Twins ... Robinson and Leonard.

I think the Klitschko brothers would make a great tag team duo. Kind of like the Steiner brothers.

And they would benefit heavily from a tag team allowing each other to rest while the other goes to work

My cruiserweight-tag team would be Dwight Qawi (5′ 5½″ and orthodox) and Oleksandr Usyk (6′ 3″ and southpaw). This combination could cause some confusion for the opponents.

1988 Mike Tyson and 1973 George Foreman. Good luck dealing with those two when they both have time to rest. Both are such great starters that I assume they'd hit the ground running after their rests, so this would really work out.

Do they fight another tag team or no? If they're up against a single guy, imagine dealing with that. You manage to survive the first three rounds with '88 Tyson, and then a fresh '73 Foreman steps in. Fuuuuuu.

Another way would be to go with two totally different styles to give your team the broadest range of ability against different opponents. Say, 1966 Muhammad Ali and 1973 George Foreman.

I'd love to see Patterson & Ellis pitted against Ali & foreman
