If anyone thinks boxing is getting more corrupt they are being extremely short sighted with a view to it's history.

Were talking about a sport that used to refuse title shots based on skin colour.

A sport that once saw the referee of a major championship fight bet on one guy and when he got knocked out, disqualified the other guy for landing the ko punch.

A sport so corrupt we saw mobsters hold the main weight classes hostage for a significant number of years.

A sport so corrupt fighters would purposefully lose fights in order to gain title shots.

All we have now is subjective decisions going the way of the draw. That itself is nothing new. Truth be told bogus decisions aren't as huge a deal now anyways because of the internet. Did Bradley getting the nod over Pac have any real difference in the sport? Hell no. Will adamek be viewed as a worthy challenger until he beats a top ten guy legit? Hell no. Did chisora suffer any I'll effects from the helenius decision? Hell no.

Boxing is, was and always will be a global sport.the richest athletes in the world are Floyd and Pac, two boxers. The ppv records are held by Floyd.

Is boxing in decline? Maybe in America it isn't as popular and given hattons retirement it won't be as popular in England for a bit but on the whole it's more popular country by country than it ever was.

We all know Cunningham for shafted. Lets hope they secure a rematch!

You'll be back.I understand your frustration but you have to pick wisely on what fights you spend your money on or more importantly who.Boxing & all sports have always been corrupt this how the world runs so suck it up & deal with it.

i respect the **** out of you.

but if you think if this keeps going that boxing wont keep dying that little bit more and more then your naive..

i mean you will always have the cocks (who arnt even boxing fans and just want to see 2 guys swinging for the fances)..but how can any new fans get into it after watching robberys??

i loved the sport since i was a young boy.and then when i first put gloves on i found out that it was even more in love with it.but its even making me not want to watch it..

and i understand your point about the racisim and the mob..but in these days of tech surly it should be getting better not being accepted because (we really know what happend) because you know as much as i do the record books years down the line wont have in brackets (cunningham really won but got shafted but its ok everyone really knew he won)

So every time a decision happens that you disagree with it was the Mob?
    HAHA!

Go watch some close fights. Go look up the term "close fight."

Close fights can go either way.

  12. For every single one that goes, 10 become fans :D

But really MEAN IT *****. Don't be excited for another boxing fight cause I KNOW you will keep on watching boxing.
