It's a rounds system and the sport was created to see who was the best point fighter.

People want to watch two great fighters showcase defense , footwork, angles etc.

Knockouts are barbaric and cavemen entertainment. That's not the sport, I'm sorry .

We should be promoting the artistry and science of the sport, the ability to outpoint and outfight, not the barbaric nature of it.

I'm sorry I actually enjoy boxing in it's purest form, while you enjoy cavemen like entertainment!

KO's are the art of boxing.

That's why they're called Knock Out Artists. Not point fighting artists.

Knockouts are a major part of the game. If your playing pool and the 9 ball is hanging over the pocket you dont leave till the end if you can get it on 2 or 3.

you dont want to pay £100 to watch eight fights that have all first round knockouts from the 4 rounders upto the twelve rounders
What you going to do for the rest of evening ! ?

I just want to say that I enjoy watching boxing in its purest form too, and I am especially fascinated by the showcasing of defense, footwork, and angles that high level boxers possess and display.

I'm not about the barbaric caveman stuff either, I don't watch boxing to see knockouts. Sometimes they happen but I'm all about the pure sport and witnessing a high level competition play out before our very eyes.

boxing has changed over the years it became more a sport but the optimal outcome is to stop your opponent not go 12-15 rounds where you can get hurt
