If they're so crappy why don't you step in the ring with them and set things right?

well then they're a lesser garbage than their predecessors (who they, you know, beat) which is progress of a kind.

Always been a fan of Taylor, I think he was going to win anyways, but you really want to give him cred when the other guy's knee went out? I know it's not JT's fault, but that's the reason why most not giving Cotto props for his win over Maravilla. It was a close fight up until Soliman's leg went out.

Title holders are there because they play the game.

Champions are there because they earn the right.

Wlad, Stevenson, Ward, Cotto, Mayweather, Garcia, Rigo and Gonzalez can all say they beat the man or the next best behind them.

You might disagree with their status as number 1 but you can't disagree they earnt the right.

In other division we should see the best face each other. Huck and Hernandez can't be put off much longer. Floyd v Pac is still to be made. Crawford is about to school Beltran though. What's stopping Garcia and Uchiyama? Donaire and Gonzalez? Moreno and Yamanaka? These are fights that should be happening.

yes some title holders are weak but who can blame then chasing a title? Once they have the titles though they should be chasing recognition as the best in the division.

In my opinion it is a weak era at MW, SMW and LHW.
They all seem a bit empty.

At MW there is potential for big fights but they are not happening for some reason.
There could be a fight that could be built up well I think - Golovkin vs Quillin. I think that could be made into a big fight, then the division I think would catch on a bit more with other undefeated challengers working up to the winner in the Saunders/Eubank jnr winner to give an example

At SMW, A Ward was unfortunate to enter an already cleared division and not fought any top undefeated prime fighters. Froch who I dont think would have gone as far a few years previously has cleared out other challengers. I guess there is still DeGale who I think has the talent to beat any SMW if he is on his game.

At LHW, Hopkins is cleaning out many names in the division, but is now nearly 50, which tells another story. We will find out more about the division after Hopkins fight with Kovalev I guess
