They held titles simultaneously for years. They held titles while they other didn't.

There was 10 years or so when they were considered the two best in the whole world. If two other heavyweights did that, people would never let them forget it.

Hell, Larry Holmes gets crap for not fighting guys like Greg Page. How long many MONTHS were they considered the two best heavyweights in the world at the same time?

It wasn't MONTHS with the Klitschkos. It was closer YEARS.

    What is?

Do you and your brother beat people up for a living?

Are you saying the Klitschkos didn't enjoy punching people? Are you saying they hated boxing?

They were hard people who dominated in a freaking blood sport.

Sorry to get your panties in a bunch, but wake up.

They feasted on weaker opponents and chose to never fight their toughest challenge for years ...each other ... because they could make more defenses against weaker guys ... and both could profit off each others defenses ... if they kept belts apart.

If you think they didn't fight because of their sainted mother worrying at home you're high.

All of what you say, fighting your brother is just like fighting your father or your son in my eyes. I could understand it if they were big enemies but they are very close. If you need me to explain why it's wrong then you just don't understand I'm afraid.

Do I also need to explain to you that most people believe it's wrong for people to punch each other in the head for a living, too ... which is why there have been calls to ban boxing since it began.

And why boxing is still illegal in some countries.

And do I need to remind you that the Klitschkos WERE THE BEST in the world at what would be considered assault and battery if it was done outside the ring? That they made fortunes pounding men in the head and beating them to the floor? That they weren't soft and cuddly figures, but very dangerous men?

But you could understand it if they were brothers but enemies?

Sorry to burst your bubble, but if you believed the mom excuse you got taken. They were counting on people like you to get away with what they did. They avoided their top opponent for years and beat lesser men ... and they convinced people they did it out love.

    Classic smokescreen.

Neither Klitschko brother proved he was the best by beating THE BEST ... instead they chose to share the championship with the only person who could probably take them out.

Regardless ... their era is basically over.

I just don't want it to happen again. But the way people have given them a pass, it probably will happen again when two other heavyweight beltholders don't have the stones to fight each other ... but the rest of the field is weak.
