David Hill, chief executive of Fox Sports, says HD television is merely a stepping stone on the way to 3D television. Hill went on to say - When it comes it's going to be incredible, and the one sport that will do so well from it is boxing. I've seen boxing on 3D. It's the thing that is going to save boxing. I can't wait. Let's hope Hill's right!
why do they keep saying the thing that will save boxing there is guys in boxing makeing million of dollars and it is a globe sport, ****s like hill are just **** wits, What he knows about boxing I could write on the back of a postage stamp.
What matters is whether 3D can improve boxing coverage! I couldn't give a toss whether blokes like Hill are walking boxing encyclopedias or not, or if they make a packet out of flogging Foxtel.
David Hill has a proven track record with sport on tv. While his comment may have been a little naive about saving the sport, its definitely exciting that the man who pioneered many aspects of sports coverage is talking this up. Obviousy a few years away yet but very intriguing.
