i thought the recent fight between felix sturm, the hometown hero technician and sebastian sylvester, the hometown hero puncher was terrific. sturm dictated the pace and tamed the aggressor while avoiding his big shots. however, sturms questionable chin and inconsistency gave the fight a persistent anything-can-happen feel. it was a nice production at the pilsener arena and was well attended by excited, but not riotous fans of both fighters...a first-rate event. i was lucky to be on hand for that one in november.
