Sounds like BS, GBP isn't going to put a card up against itself.

i think may will fight the ghost an canelo will get the cotto fight just to keep him safe they dont want to put him in with trout an it will just be a big build up to a big money fight between may an canelo a year later on the cinco de mayo weekend.

If true a lot of this is dependent on the result of the Lara/Martiosyan rematch, assuming it happens well before May 4th.
#1 k9: If Martioysyan (Top Rank) beats Lara (Golden Boy) than I belive that Bundrage will face Alvarez in a WBC/IBF unification fight

#2 trout: Out of all the names on this list Trout is the only one that makes any sense to be matched up with Mayweather. First off He holds the other half of the WBA championship. Secondly while Cotto may not be at his peak or the greatest boxer ever. He's still pretty good He beat him in MSG which happens to be Cotto's house. Other than Lara, Trout is better than anyone on this list.

#3 kell brook: To even be considered he needs to beat Alexander first. Also he likely only gets a fight if Mayweather plans on going back to welterweight. My guess is that Mayweather will fight at light middleweight.
I can see him fighting Guerrero if he beats Alexander. In a WBC/IBF unification match.

#4 james kirkland: Kirkland and Cotto makes a lot of sense. For Kirkland Cotto is that big name that will advance his career. For Cotto Kirkland is that young lion type, who he can revive his career with.

#5 zaurbek baysangurov: The WBO/IBO light middle weight champion. Even if he's the best boxer out of this group he's not fighting Mayweather or Alvarez in May. If Lara beats Martiosyan than I can see him being matched up with Bundrage in a WBO,IBO/IBF unification match

#6 erislandy lara: If Lara beats Martiosyan than he gets matched up with Alvarez. If not he could be the odd man out. However he could be matched up with Cotto in a Puerto Rican/Cuban rivialry match up. He could also be matched up with Kirkland.

If on one card The line up could look like
The Main Event: Mayweather/Trout. Unifiy the WBA light middleweight championship. (12)
The Co feature or as they like to say on Showtime the penultimate fight:
Alvarez/Lara. I think Lara will beat Martiosyan. This will be for the WBC light Middle weight championship.(12)
The feature atraction: Cotto/Kirkland. Fort the WBC Continental Americas light middleweight championship. (12).

On a diffrent card on another night.
Main event: Brock or Alexander/Guerrero. IBF/WBC welterweight championship.
the penultimate fight: Bundrage/Baysangurov. For the WBO, IBO/IBBF light middleweight championship.

I would think Canelo would be the better call on whom to show.
    Cinco being the next day...
Hmm mean that is on a Sunday next year? ... Looked it up and yep.
SO a Super Star Mexican vs ... Do we have any BIG name French fighters?
THAT WOULD be the F!n ticket! Ha Ha ...
    But Trout will do.

This is bull****. There is not a single name that is big enough for Floyd to take on. Floyd would be carrying the show by himself.
