I follow boxing for a numbers of years now,and i discover over the years that even as a boxer who aß the
definition is like a modern gladiator and must not be afraid of no one(of course because you will not sacrifice
a huge part of your life for nothing). My question is; do you think we as a sport fan get what we deserve or what we want? my take on the subject is we need to get heard by the businessmans who controls the sport.
My solutions for this; a social platform(apps like twiter, facebook etc) with all the stats(like boxrec) so the
promoters have no choices but to make what we wants and willing to pay. What do you think?

    There's a coordination problem here.

Let's say you choose to boycott any PPV that doesn't live up to your standards. Casuals won't. Most other boxing fans won't. Enough of them still want to see the fight that a boycott will fail. And you will probably have invested a disproportionate amount of your own time and effort to organize a boycott on a topic that has very little impact on your day to day life, and consumes a small fraction of your hobby hours.

at a certain level that becomes true. at cash cow level. people will attend for the event, and to be part of a historically significant career. the amount of hype canelo is getting from the casuals right now, will make his next fight, against anyone, a complete circus. i think its good. the overall image is of growth, dedication, hard work, triumph and conquest. family man dedicated to his craft. hes had some falls from grace, but here he is, the king of the mountain.
but outside of 3 or 4 fighters, casuals arent interested. thats why teofimo and bud, among others, struggle to get buys. theyre more interested in whats culturally relevant, not just boxing relevant. thats why ryan and the paul brothers sell what they sell.
