Everytime I see a fighter get a big win and I start to think “Dang that guys is amazing” he goes on to lose his next fight. I thought Joyce was unbeatable until he fought Zhang and then I thought Zhang was unstoppable till he lost to Parker (the same Parker who lost to Joyce somehow). I just don’t understand this sport man.
Fickle When Fury beats Usyk it will be Usyk was always too small and Fury aged him out then it will be "he has to beat AJ" and a continuous loop. Always excuses. Always overlooking. Always fantasizing about what could be or what should be. Both Fury & Usyk retiring from top flight boxing this year is the only guarantee and their bout isn't going to be this golden amazing fight, it's going to be two end of life pure boxers trying to edge out a points victory, Fury clearly slimmed right down wisely knowing brawling is a fools game against Usyk for the majority of the fight time. Joyce was the hottest thing after he smashed Parker up Then Zhang was the hottest thing Now we're back to Parker being hot AJ got pancaked by a fatman on 3 weeks notice, bum territory now he's "back" better than ever when really not much has changed Fury has an off night every other day looking like a drunk out of a pub, then when the moment arises where he has to perform he finds form and dominates.
