    His lack of love for the game will be part of his legacy judging by the continual swipes the boxing writers continue to take at him. That was a very stupid thing for Calzaghe to say. Checking out shortly afterward isn't helping.

    Agreed, and there's no need for it. If he's frustrated about some of the criticism in the community he should continue on and strengthen his legacy, instead of firing out a few parting shots and retiring.

    That was some ol' bull there.

    But TBH, I must have missed this. When did he say "Boxing is Dead"?

    And that's pretty ****ed up for him to say that, way to give back to the sport that made him millions.

    Boxing is dead, kiss my ass. Mother ****er had 60+ thousand people to watch ONE of his fights live last year. Jeeezus.

    Forgive my rant, I just didn't know he said that. FFS. :bart
