I actaully say that as a fan of both too. I honestly feel like boxing has been getting its act to gether nicely over the past couple of years and infact you see more and more MMA promotions trying to promote fighters with good stand-up games. Take for instance the fight being the Irish Hand Granade and ______ that happened on the last UFC card in Ireland, the big promotion for that fight was that it had the potential to be a classic MMA fight because both guys had pro boxing experieince. Well basically what it turned out to be was a fight between to guys that were so bad at Boxing that they need to find a new sport.....and it was the most entertaining fight on the card.

MMA and the UFC in particular do everything well that boxing does poorly, but when boxing is done right its top end is so much more impressive.

HBO is putting boxing back on the ****ing map with BAD and WCB on a roll so far and doesn't look like its about to stop!

Not to mention HBO Canada televising live fights! someone is doing something right. even my Dad is started to get into boxing thats 2 weeks in a row now he watched the whole program.à

Now if only the sanctioning bodies can get in line it would be godly.

I used to enjoy MMA much more but having seen many UFC fights a good Boxing fight is way more enjoyable than an good UFC fight. Besides, it was the new thing and it was exciting but now MMA is getting a little boring now.
