    A year of great fights, some great prospects on the horizon, despite difficult economic times Hatton and Pac continue to do big numbers and this year looks to be every bit as good as last. If that was a **** year, long may it continue, I could watch more fights like Hop-Pavlik and Marquez-Vasquez.

    Its certainly not dead.

    However, it could use a facelift. For example, eliminate some weight classes and have only ONE champion per weight class.

    Disagree with the first part, kinda agree with the 2nd part, I'm cool with 2 titles/champs at various weights.
    I'd also think Champ vs No1 contender should be mandatory and held within 4-6 months of the champions previous fight.

    We've had a great few years here. There is no reason for the "Boxing is dead" garbage. I've been quite pleased with the matches we've been having.

    I look at the fights we've have over the last few years, I look at the fights already scheduled for this year and think 'how the hell can people say boxing's dying?'

    The sports in great shape and long may it continue!

    Ive thought for ages;
    I hear a lot more people saying 'no Boxing isnt dying,you're wrong' than people actually saying it's dying to start with.
    There are far far more defenders denouncing the 'boxing is doomed mongers' than actual attackers and doom mongers themselves....if you follow.
    Baffles me this.:huh
