It's far from dying. For mine, that's a little melodramatic and not true. I think it's fair to say there'll be a very healthy turn out tonight for the Kali Meehan v Mick Kirby fight. You've got a guy who's rated in the top 10 by a few organisations fighting a bloke who will stand right in front of him and go for it.

It's unfortunate that the Mostyn Niemann v Thor Hoopman fight was scrapped off the undercard because Hoopman got stopped and Niemann suffered a 10 stitch cut in his last fight. Les Sherrington was due to fight Junior Talipeau on the card but broke his leg. Unfortunate, but what can you do?

There's some very talented prospects on the undercard that many have never heard of. To me they're not "**** fights" if you've not heard of them. Tyrone Jones is never in a bad fight and his opponent Lydon Edney comes up with some good wraps from down south. Craig Hill Jr is a good little prospect and Hannan v Parsons will be worth watching.

 

Don't worry Danny Green will dig up the corpse and fight it for the "175lb cruiserweight title" if it dies.

 

I'm not gunna bag MMA but it's just not my cup of tea...I might've watched bits'n'pieces of about 3 fights in my life....boxing with go through phases but as Ippy just stated there's been abit of bad luck associated with this card...

 

The OP has a point, but as Ippy said, he's a little dramatic.

I like boxing and MMA and just enjoy the good times of both.
