    Seriously, some noobs say that boxers used to be better, but they simply didn't. Watch this legendary match between Muhammad Ali and George Foreman... Let's be honest, they wouldn't be able make their weird holding-and-weak-petting-punches strategy against Mike Tyson, for example.

    ever wonder why the top fighters(Floyd, Pac, and JMM) are from an older generation, yet still the highest ranked and can clean out divisions?

    arent the youngsters supposed to be running the P4P list by now?

    The reason HWs fight different from Muhammad Ali these days is because they can`t fight like him... they all wish they had the God given ability of Ali but they don`t... you obviously aren`t watching those`old`films of Ali closely enough otherwise you wouldn`t be saying this crazy ****.

    You talk about holding the head like it's a really bad thing to do technique wise. Maybe it wouldn't be tolerated in today's game but it ties someone up much more effectively.
    if your fighting a brawler thats charging at you you have to tire him up somehow, right?


    Besides, don't modern boxers do similar things? One only has to look at klitsckho to see him holding, leaning on and throwing boxers around the ring! Not clean boxing, but it keeps people from fighting him effectively on the inside, doesn't it?
