Before we had abc champs in all weight classes, now we have multiple ring magazine and linear champs. Realistically if dawson/erdie, montiel/darchinyan, pac/mayweather and chris john/juan lopez fight each other. That would restore lineage in all 8 traditional weight classes. Which of these fights would you like to see the most. I think chris john vs juan manuel lopez would be a pick em fight.
I've been telling my friends for the last couple of years that a lot of champs are fighting other champs now, especially in the non-"glamor" divisions and it is making the sport a lot better. The sport is more marketable when casual fans know who "the man" is.
