Boxing: Is it really right to be SAFE than SORRY?

Not everyone fights like Rio ,Boom Boom ,Pac KTFO6,...Etc

 

why do people keep talking about "safe" fights for floyd? In his last 5 fights he beat 5 champions: maidana, canelo, guerrero, ortiz and cotto...nobody else is fighting that caliber of opponent fight after fight after fight. NOBODY!...and not only is floyd beating these guys, he's DOMINATING them, winning virtually EVERY round. y'all need to stop spreading lies. THe man is the champ because NOBODY CAN BEAT HIM.


When you think about it, FMJ is so good, it's almost unbelievable. The guy is 38 yrs old now...fighting guys 10, 15 years younger, who outweigh him by 20-30 lbs. they been studying floyd for decades now, coming at him with all different styles. These guys been groomed to be fighters since THEY were kids... and they STILL want to use all kinds of special gloves to give them even MORE advantages and use roughouse tactics like a uFC fighter against him...why? Because they know that FMJ is REAL superman. And you don't fight superman fair. To beat superman you have to have EVERY advantage you can beg borrow or steal. you have to lie and cheat and bribe...and EVEN THEN, you know you still gonna lose. Why? Because he's SUPERMAN.

All I'm saying is, don't act like b8tches, people...because that's what y'all sound like, if you could only hear yourselves "i hate floyd, he's always beating up my fighters...it's not fair! he's such a cheater and cherry picker." What y'all really need to do, is bow down and thank floyd for giving you a glimpse of what god looks like...and worship him like he's one. you will all feel better....trust me, a lilttle humility is good for the soul.

 

He isn't worried about his safety...he is worried about taking a loss...

bieng/feeling safe is a completely different matter... & if he genuinely worried about injury as a result of getting hit then he needs to retire already lol.

once you get worried about your health you can't make it in boxing.

White used to be a serious boxing nut...but one day in a gym he saw a 30 year old who was already punch drunk & started to think about whether he could end up like that...and once that thought seeped in it was over for him.

They're not compelling match ups. Period. The only one that was interesting was the Canelo fight and they drained him. If everyone knows whos gonna win before a fight its a mismatch. And that has been all of Mayweather's fights for a long time.

 

I hope "they" means canelo's trainers

Floyd's resume is pretty solid, he just gets (rightfully) judged because he proclaims himself to be TBE
many, many undeserving fighters win belts just so they can get rich off the back of them and never step up

i'm not defending it, but it's not going to change
in a sport where fighters can sit back and make a facebook poll about 'who fans want them to fight next', while they sip a cold drink and fart at the screen while they think about it, all the power shifts away from anything the federations can do - because elite boxers don't need belts to get mega-rich. and they can also dictate terms of the fight

 

Boxing is hit and not get hit.. How many times does Floyd get hit clean in a fight? No boxer wants to get punched in the face.. If they can go a whole fight without getting hit, they would.. Some just don't have the skills required to do so, so they have no choice.. Floyd is not one of them.. Plus we all know Floyd was talking about getting hit by a guy on steroids.. Don't start acting like progamer and duck_master..

Speaking of which, have anyone seen him/her? Not his alts.. Duck_master's account.. Did he get suspended or something?

the federations are completely toothless when it comes to the big players

the belts are just candy and leverage for fighters who don't reach 'god status', like Floyd and pac have, but they are just trinkets after that
