You're wrong about that - it amazes me how much athletic ability defensive/offensive linemen have for their huge girth

Allright im outta here. For the record im not trying to down-play rugby, it is certainly an EXTREMELY tough sport. I just think that the higher level of athleticism in the NFL would indeed put it above rugby, as we saw on this list. But I guess potatoe, potato; whatever. This thread is getting too out of control

Nobody is saying NFL linebackers is not athletically gifted, and talented for sports, but the guys in the d-line are fat, and thats all the coach need, a fat worthless piece of ****, and that makes the "sport" inferior, to most others.

Linemen push and shove for position and occasionally tackle a back
Quarterbacks get hit 2-3 times a game and Tom Brady and Manning rarely get touched

Basketball is a sport to make freakishly tall people feel good about themselves.

You get players switch codes in the two types of rugby who get exposed for their kicking and passing....so make no mistake that american footballers would get massively exposed.

Yeah, you are right! som of them knows how to stop a guy from sacking the QB! Wow, now that's ****ing talent.

They are fat, and worthless, but they are taught how to use the frame to stop another fat **** (fb) to get through. And everybody screams "what a ****ing athlete" I say what a worthless fat piece of ****.

Boxing is much more demanding then soccer. In soccer if you ran out of gas you can ask for substitution, in boxing you euther quit or get knocked out.

Are you seriously saying that most of the d-liners in the NFL is not fat?

Dude, even if only three guys in the nfl were fat, It would make the whole sport look stupid, since no other sport, has those lard****s.

Call your average NFL lineman a fat **** to his face. You'd probably try and run but not know that fat **** is faster then you lol you'd would get caught from behind and your neck snapped like a twig.

Most NFL lineman are required to possess a certain degree of quickness and speed. As do d-lineman. For someone who claims to watch the sport you really dont know much.
