Joe Louis was at the end of his career,,, flat broke, fighting stiffs for short money and doing whatever he could to try and get by... He runs into his old promter one night in a club and says, "Hey man, you know I'm going through a real rough stretch here... Do you think you can lend me a thousand bucks, just until my next fight?" The guys says, "Well gee, I don't know Champ,,, when's your next fight?" Joe looks at him and says, "As soon as you try and get your thousand bucks back motherf---er." :yep Just thought with all the sad news lately ESB could use a laugh. [RIP Viper]
