Since this has turned into the 'let's quiz/harangue Danny Flexen' thread, i'd like to ask Danny whether he would really favour Mayweather Jr against Hearns in a mythical matchup? And why?

He's already said he wouldn't and drew the short straw.

Was Bunce assuming that Danny was writing his fight reports from viewing the bout on a phone?

Does Flexen even do fight reports in BN anymore?

I had a presentation course at work this week. We had to prepare a 10 minute presentation of our choosing. I picked pro-wrestling.

Suffice to say everyone on my course now has a new found respect for wrestling.

    Carry on

Okay so... the Mayweather thing, someone had to argue that side and I felt, given my knowledge of both men, I could produce a relatively convincing argument for Floyd. I hope I did that but I was kind of arguing the inarguable.

As for the Bunce comment, yes he was inferring I was reporting from a phone screen. I pointed out to him on Twitter that I no longer report on fights but if I was asked to I would do so from ringside. He admitted it was a sweeping statement and swiftly backed down. As a fan, obviously I'll watch the sport via any medium that is available to me. I've been down this road with Steve twice now and I hope we can put an end to this petty stuff. We are very different people but share a great passion for the sport and for the jobs we do.
