Like most fight fans, I was outraged at the Froch/Groves scorecards before the terrible stoppage. Despite Groves flooring Froch & dominating him, 2 judges only had him up by one round! Had it gone 12 rounds, Groves would have been royally screwed. (Matchroom have form with Burns/Beltran) I think Boxing needs to move forward & introduce electronic scoreboards. At the each of round the scores from each judge should be displayed. This will allow for transparency & allow for the fighter to adjust tactics during the fight accordingly. We cannot continue with this guess work during the fight. Other sports everyone exactly what the score is, whether it be football, golf, cricket etc. Anyone else have any other ideas/suggestions?
