I'm personally excited for the year the HW division is coming with a surge DW-AP,TF-WK II, CM-AJ, the winners possibly facing off top notch fights like Ward-Barerra and Kovalev-Ward in the fall Porter-Thurman when it finally goes through then the winner vs Garcia likely late summer, Loma-Walters, Cruz-Frampton, Crawford-Postol likely as well, Gonzalez is on a tear and is holding the P4P throne well. Canelo-Khan just as an event is big as well as the eventual MW Unification of Canelo-Golovkin. Its lots to be excited about IMO just gotta pay attention

It's not as exciting to me as the old days simply because the promoters now don't bother with good cards. You might get one fight you look forward to on a bill, but it seemed like you used to get at least 3 good, top quality fights per PPV.

Meh, I think boxing goes up and down and every once in a while there are going to be slumps along the way. And while I know how you feel now, hopefully the next few years will prove otherwise. Definitely the mid-90's to the 2000's were some of the best years in boxing in my opinion.

Crawford vs Lundy was a mismatch from the beginning.

Canelo vs khan is about money not necessarily quality.

Can't agree with you on Garcia or Broner, i am by no means a Broner fan but the kid has jumped thru 4 division's fighting top 10/5 rated contenders and champs in most of them. Broner's problem is he isn't as good as his mouth.
Garcia I do have some respect for he has some stinkers but overall his body of work is top notch and getting better, aren't they lining up Garcia vs the Porter-Thurman winner.

For perspective Thurman is a career Welter and his best win was Guerrero last year, Danny whopped Guerrero his 2nd fight at the weight.

There are very few big fights in the horizon. A "compelling" or stacked division means nothing if they don't fight each other. This is the case at 140, 130, welterweight, heavyweight, light heavyweight. There are big fights to be made, but we've been waiting a long time, and many seem to fall through.

Broner has had everything handled to him on a silver platter and still losses.

    Weight drained Porter backfired

C level Maidana backfired and the ref was in his side 2 lol

    I can keep going

As for Danny his own Dad recently said they prefer Salka type guys lol

    Who's Broner fighting next ?

    Who's Danny fighting next ?

Didn't Danny leave 140 because of Postol ?

Guerrero is nothing but a C- level blown up 135-140 pound fighter

Aren't they lining up the Porter-Thurman winner for Danny? Hasn't Garcia already beat the top guys at 140? As far as Broner the dude is coming off a loss and is trying to build himself back up.

Sounds like just hating to me Guerrero, Maidana, and Porter are better than most guys are fighting.
You can't let a fighters attitude shape your opinion on them.

I mean Broner is ****ped on daily yet has a better resume and has fought tougher comp then guys like Thurman, GGG, or Brook and they get praised.

I can't be made at a lower teir match every now and then when a lot of fans praise certain fighters like gods and they haven't got wins as good as an old Paulie or Guerrero.
