Boxing keeps Olympic status according to AIBA

Without the desire to become an Olympian many a good amateur Boxing young talent would of considered walking away from the sport before anybody realised how good they could be. They seem to want it above the world champs or other major events.

 

There is one shooting event that's very good. It's at the Winter Olympics. It combines Nordic skiing and shooting. You're skiing around in the snow, carrying a rifle. Every once in a while you stop and shoot at a target. Nordic skiing takes skill and depending on the terrain very difficult. So it's a viable sport. Not surprising that it's usually a Finnish or Norwegian person that wins. Americans are better at shooting in schools and malls.
