No need to look any further. Our very own Lampley has provided us with the 2008 post of the year! :yep
This is a classic post.:deal Especially the shot term for Bigtime9. Priceless, as another Floyd nuthugger Radar would say. Do you see anyone here who is nearing their prime as nuthuggers?
G_RapPBF.....he is an up and comer with potential. But his ceiling isn't as high as some of the others who have recently come through. UnbeatableFloyd could have been the GOAT, showed great talent for a couple of months, then suffered constant setbacks when he encountered Admin. PacD is in his prime right now I think. But Johnco stops him early when he goes all out. PacD will say something like "I predicted the Donaire-Darchinyan upset so I have bragging rights"....Johnco would respond with, ":bbb:bbb:tired:tired:hey:hey:hey:good:good:rasta:rasta:rasta:rasta:smooch:hat:fire:happy:blood:scaredas::rofl" and it would be over. But they have the same promoter so we'll never see this fight.
They both have a great legacy, i remember Hopkins being called a little stale when he faced Jones at the RFK in 1993.. look at him now in 2008.. 15 years later, that is testiment to him.. Joseph has earned his stripes too.. he never quite looked outstanding as a pro early , making mountains out of very insygnificant fights, but then he supercharged his attitude and won everything against everyone and when all the smoke cleared he is still here .. Jo is indeed a hell of a class fighter, i would not be surprised to see either man win or lose, i have seen them both taken to the brink and seen both pull out great shockers.. Hopkins stopping DLH with that body shot !! Joseph shutting out a very subdued Jeffrey Lacy.. !! A great event come saturday..
:rofl I reckon they are under the Pacquaio promotion..:yep Haven't seen these new promising posters, eh...
This is the guy that said he would leave the forum if: Hopkins signed to fight Calzaghe. Hopkins lands more than 10 punches. Hopkins gets more than 1 round. Perhaps a chimp would honor his bets at least :huh
Unbelievable ! How often do we see TWO top 100 all-time posts in the same thread ? I didn't think the thread-opener could be topped, but I think you pulled it off. (BTW, is that the same lady we used to see from the rear ?)
He'll be away for a little while until Guzman has an event, Gamboa, any significant thing going on with Frank Warren or of course a new Calzaghe fight is announced.
