Boxing legends praising Liston

In his days in the penal system, he would tell both : You will do my laundry, iron my clothes and keep our cell clean, you are both mine. Ha Ha.

 

Sonny Liston deserves all the praise and it's nice hearing these fighters acknowledging him as a great fighter and an inspiration.

Huge respect to Floyd Patterson for giving Liston the title shot when nobody else wanted to. He knew what he was up against and probably knew he had no chance but was willing to give Liston his fair shot of becoming champ.

"If he'll come to me I'll kill him. And if he run I'ma catch him and kill him." Can't get anymore intimidating than that.
