Losing against a legit threat like Bivol will only tarnish Canelo's star a little bit. He will still be the biggest attraction in boxing for the foreseeable future. This fight just brought some much needed light into the 175 div. The rematch, if it takes place, will be huge. If not
Bivol vs the winner of Beterbiev and what's his name just became bigger.

Do you want salt with those tears?

Not bad for boxing at all, and might actually be good for Canelo to eat some humble pie!

You telling me that if the same fight happened and Canelo won, you would be pleased? That is better for the sport of boxing than the right guy winning to you?

This post is the problem with our Sport at the moment....Corrupt decisions should be made for the Sport of Boxing to survive...A lot of Fan's on this Forum think like this and unfortunately it is exactly what is wrong with the Sport.!!!

Do you think it would have been better for boxing for Canelo to get another gift decision?

I don't think so. Sets up Bivol vs Beterbiev beautifully.

Canelo will remain a star and continue where he left off at 168.

He will knock out Golovkin in the trilogy and everyone will proclaim he's back.

Canelo thinking he can just stroll into any weight class and take the pick of the belts. Bit of a reality check for him.

Canelo just lost, he doesn't deserve a Golovkin payday.
