Good won tonight and justice prevailed

And besides, Jake ''Money'' Paul is the sport's cash cow and the future of the sport

Clen took a thoroughly deserved and long overdue loss but he's still a great fighter and the biggest star and draw in the sport behind Jake ''Money'' Paul

Bivol is one of the nicest, most humble, respectful and likeable fighters in the sport and also one of the best and most underrated. I've been tooting his horn since I first laid eyes on him

    His pro debut

Really overestimating how canelo losing will influence boxing. Conor Mcgregor is in a losing streak and still has a massive following.

Boxing has been losing casuals for decades.
If anything we the hardcore fans won tonight.
We need more moments like these , not less.

I don't care how many people (glory hunting idiots) follow boxing. Why would I?

I didn't even watch the fight because I thought Alvarez would win ...I also knew it was definitely going to points so what's the point because canelo would never lose a decision.

If anything it's made me want to actually start watching canelo fights again

Let’s be honest the majority of us thought before the fight that Bivol would get jobbed on the cards tonight like a few of Canelo’s previous opponents have been over the years and then on top of that there is all the anti Russian sentiment that is being pushed around the World so most figured even more that Bivol would need a KO to get the draw. Canelo getting beat above his own weight division will not effect any of his fan base and with Bivol now in the spotlight after this win it throws even more interest at the Light Heavyweight division and hopefully an Undisputed fight to look forward too. Tonight boxing WON anybody can see that .

Not necessarily. This opens up a plethora of possibilities. He could still return to 168, fight GGG then win or lose, have the return match with Bivol in December. But something tells me Canelo's competitive spirit will choose the immediate rematch then perhaps GGG in December. Either way, boxing wins.

There's plenty of great fighters & fights to look forward to for years to come.

Canelo losing isn't the end of the world.

    Shut up *****

Boxing is about skills and fair results because the fighter who did better should win a fight

I give a **** about casuals watching boxing and money and all that stuff.

This is one of the best days boxing has seen.

Clenelo is a PED cheat andgot a special treatment with it. He got some ridiculous decisions and in general the scorecards are always kind of rigged when he fights even when he gets the stoppage.

Last night it wasn't a close fight. Bivol was beating him up and still only won by 7-5 rounds. It should have been 118-110.

When Canelo retires the same thing was going to happen so what? He just wasn`t good enough.
