i have 6 magazines that my grandad gave me - they are just called 'boxing' and dated various dates in 1937...are these rare?..i'm not bothered if they're not, just curious.. scanner messes up the picture of it for some reason... This content is protected
I think that is actually an early Boxing News. I've got one myself with a report of the Seaman Tommy Watson - Kid Chocolate fight.
i've got many boxing mags, even backin the 1920's,they are worth what you can get out of them.in good shape might be worth 20 bucks each,i've got over 6000 mags from about 1923 to 2000 when i stopped collecting them bought out a few collections as well
I just purchased a 1935 'The Ring' mag with an article on Rocky Marciano for 20 dollars at a flea market, might only be worth that cause it has Marciano in there though. Really depends on what people are willing to pay I guess.

1935????? Marciano was not even boxing than. atsch They must have some wise people running the mag in 35 to do that. Perhaps use a little time travel to get the in prime pic. I got about 5 ot 6 Ring Mags with the Rock also.
The one with they interview Dempsey right? Or was this the one with the Charles Marciano fight, and the than editor play out a Marciano Dempsey on the front page, and had both fighters down, Dempsey knock out of the ring, and witness the greatness fight EVER, only to wake up from his dream lol.
