I bought every boxing magazine from 1980 to 2000. In addition I purchased a collection that covered a variety of magazines from the early 1970s to 1988 or so. Plus, over the years I picked up a number of issues of ring, from the 30s to the 50s.

As well as those mentioned you had Boxing 87, 88 etc as a sister magazine to KO, that was released by-monthly in cycle with World Boxing. I think it stopped when The Ring became related to KO.

This thread reminds me of something silly. In the early '70s, Boxing Illustrated had a column encouraging readers to send in workout questions.

I sent one. About a year later, i glanced at the column and saw some guy was doing exactly what i had and had the same questions. Was anxious to see how the writer solved his problem.

When i got to the end of the letter, it was signed with my name. Didn't recognize my own letter.
