Or that you look at for free at the store? Sometimes Ring. Others seem kind of thin on coverage and good writing...what else is out there?
Well, all of the Ring sister publication are also top-quality: KO, world boxing and boxing2008(or whatever year it is ) I also like Fight Game by bert sugar and International Boxing Digest. IBD though sometimes is thin on coverage and has few typos. But both features round card girls. :good
my collection has rings as far back as 1923 up to 2000 when i stopped buying them.i also have many other boxing publications from over the past years.i bought out a few collections,i think my collection right now is like 6,500 mags bigjake
Boxing News The Ring Boxing Monthly Boxing Digest I used to get World Boxing and KO as well, but i can't find anywhere that sells them anymore.
The Ring, of course, but it is getting very, very weak in my opinion. Uk's Boxing Monthly is far and away the strongest thing in print in my view. Boxing News depending on what is doing. I admire them though, keeping a boxing weekly going all this time is a great achievment.
The only reason i used to buy KO was for the KO interview each month. I started buying Ring Magazine in 1986.. It was a great magazine back then. I buy boxing monthly if it looks like the stories are interesting.. Boxing news.. but it is starting to appear like old news because of the internet. Boxing Digest is actually a nice read.. It is what was the old Boxing Illustrated.. (Bert Sugars old classic) World Boxing and Boxing 88 / 95 whatever the year it is were good also..
I used to read the Ring magazine back about 10 - 12 years ago due to the web not being what it is today as far as boxing sites go. The one thing I ****ing hated about those damn magazine was that they were some how stuck in a time warp where they would relay news that was 3 - 4 months old. They had good articles and insight though, and I sure loved the posters that came with them.
