What were some fights where one guy thoroughly outboxed his opponent?

    Kovalev showed that he's a boxer-puncher.

Calzaghe v Lacy. It was embarrassing, especially seeing as Joe was the underdog in that fight.

Yes I was thoroughly impressed by Kova in this fight though I must admit it didn't hurt fighting a man that receives AARP benefits.

With that said it made me think about how Kova holds up against the like of Spinx and Moorer, Saad etc etc ….all intriguing match ups.

I'll put a list of boxing master classes in no particular order

    1. Bhop vs Tito
    2. Winky vs Mosley I
    3. Forrest vs Mosley I
    4. Floyd vs Corrales I
    5. Sanchez vs Gomez
    6. Benitez vs Duran
    7. Pea vs Chavez
    8. Barrera vs Nassem
    9. Morales vs Pac
    10. Hagler vs Mugabi
    11. Collazo vs Hatton
    12. Ebo Elder vs Courtney Burton
    13. Loma vs Russell
    14. Pedraza vs Klimov

Some of these fights are a bit obscure I know but just impressive performances in my opinion.

    By far Hopkins - Tito

We had a fighter that was clearly physical superior to the other... and lost.

    Actually no!

Hopkins is the bigger fighter, so I don't get what you're saying about Trinidad being physically superior.

Hopkins even today looks fit at 175 lbs.
Trinidad when he's weighed above 160 lbs has looked soft and carried love handles in the ring with him.

So no, Hopkins is the physically superior fighter.
