I just bought 2 boxing gloves off ebay one signed by cotto and one signed by pacquiao, it has a certificiate of authentificity and pics of them signing them. I paid 250, will these be worth anything when im old?
Yeah, I ebayed manny pacquaio afterwards and a pair signed by him was 700... so a pair signed by cotto(my fav boxer) and manny(most popular boxer) must amount to something.
Build a frame with blown up pix from the fight and the cert of authenticity and you have yourself a serious investment.
I was thinking about that. Like maybe a glass frame or something?? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...sPageName=ADME:B:EOIBSA:US:1123#ht_1873wt_999 This is what I ended up getting. (honeslty i'm a huge cottard.)
Well, I see that for both signed gloves, they're trying to get $400-500. Seeing as you got them for $250, heck yeah it's a steal. A glass case with a wood frame for the cert, big blown up fight pic, hell, I'd probably buy that for a solid $1k.
yeah, I saw 250 and then realized how much I have in the bank and thought "****... pac and cotto??.... just go for it" Maybe if I have a son I can pass it on to him and he can say 'my dad used to write for a boxing website and he had these signed gloves'
Win/win regardless. Everlast pro gloves are anywhere from $130-200+ so you basically got the signatures for pennies. Enjoy your loot!:good
Awful. Sugar Ray Leonard gloves (Which I have) are worth like 100$ dollars on ebay. So you got ripped off. Guess it depends on what gloves they were.
80??? I cant find sugar ray leonard gloves for nearly that online.. seriously... 1 signed pac gloves is a minimum 220$ on ebay right now.
