In the wake of all this Richard GBP hoopla I thought of something interesting I'm sure this will get alot of criticism and rightfully so but lets look at it from this point of view, what if one of the promotional companies (lets say they are US based top rank goldenboy goosen dibella or whatever richard has up his sleeve) and one of the managers (haymon ,dunkin etc) monopolized most of the A B and some of the C fighters? would it really be as bad as some make it out to be? Think about it most promotional companies and managers especially these days want to keep everything in house right? and once fighers are in house they have a higher likleyhood of fighting oneanother (Top Rank in partricular does this all of the time) correct? this sorta (key word sorta) becomes bootleg league such as the NBA, NFL, NHL etc but for boxing in which the promoter acts as the actual league, and could potential clean up the sport itself in a sense that Fighters have less excuses to duck fights since everyone is under the same promoter & manager There is no conflict between tv networks especially in this scenario the promotional company becomes so big that both showtime and hbo will show the fights (think of it like how TNT ESPN & ABC shows NBA games The only real hurdle would be if a fighter is Under a smaller promotional banner (think Goosen & Duva) The fighter is a international fighter (Matchbox, InterBox, Frank ******, Sauerland, K2 etc) I'm pretty sure this hurdle is much easier to deal with then trying to secure a TV network, blood testing, money venue, and splitting with a promoter like what is going on with Mayweather and Pacquiao I bring this up because I almost got a sense that, this was what Haymon and Richard was trying to do all along and Oscar did not want to be apart of it (I'm in no way judging his reasons for not doign so) I'm in no way suggesting there be a monopoly just something to think about and want to hear everyone's thoughts on this
