yes very kind indeed , but i do agree that because theres no acountabillity people can write some **** but youve just got to ignore that

 

Bit of a strange article to be in a monthly mag. On balance you'd think that promoters would be happy to have hardcore support talking about the sport they make a living out of, sure there's the odd idiot on here but we all know who they as much as the promoters

 

It'd be interesting to see how peoples "posting styles" would be affected if they were actually accountable for what they wrote.

 

We don't need accountability or real names. It's an Internet forum...Internet forums have been this way since the first one got made. It's only Frank Warren that seems to really give a ****.

 

Maybe if we all posted using our real names Frank Warren and Hennesssy could visit everyone who has posted **** about them Jay and Silent Bob style.

Mick would obviously be Bob, all he needs is a little beard but I doubt if he could even do that right.

Seriously, though, does Frank want to stop free speech? I think most people would say to his face what they really think about him anyway. Real names would cut out most of the trolling and slanderous crap, though. Remember that twat last year who claimed without a shred of evidence that Jamie Moore was on steroids? People should be sued for **** like that, IMO.

 

I do post with my real name. And I still say what I think, cause I base my opinion on facts rather than assumptions.

 

Thats brings up the accountability of the Internet again though. We've had people on here saying Haye is gay, Hatton is a druggie, Pac is on roids etc etc etc with no threat of legal action.

I don't think I'd post any differently. I say what I believe to be the truth at all times, if you like it great, if you don't, great.

To be honest I can't say I've libelled anyone at any stage, Frank Warren seems to have different ideas of what is libellous and what isn't to most people.

Is he still suing Frank Maloney over his comments about Don Broadhurst ''not being championship class'' :think

Again, I'm not a fan of either Frank, but other than his seemingly childish attitude toward criticism I've got far fewer issues with Warren than I have with Maloney in terms of his ability as a promoter, match maker and his public persona.
