    Anyone train in both?

Its funny because logically, kickboxing uses more of the body but I get more tired in boxing sparring than kickboxing. In boxing, you have to move offensive ly and defensively more, and it seems like in kickboxing, you can take your time because there are more weapons to watch out for.

ya kickboxing I imagine is less active, cus your picking your shots more. Boxing is just constant work.

It really depends on how you are fighting and also who you are fighting. When I learned Thai boxing (In Thailand against Thai fighters with Thai trainers) I learned to start at a slow pace then build intensity. By the end of a fight or of sparring the pace is just as fast as any boxing match. Thats the Thai style. Thai boxing fights rarely end in the first round, and they often end in the 4th or 5th.
