I noticed that one movie, made in 1956, "The Harder They Fall" Humphry Bogart's last movie, was the story of Primo Carnera, a hype job promoted by a corrupt promoter. This movie could also have been about Wilder, a hype job like Carnera, except Carnera was probably better than Wilder who is a joke. They were both hyped by fighting bums, winos from the alley! Here are some other movies that were or are one TCM: Requiem For A Heavyweight, really good movie, Ali and many other well known fighters were in that movie...............all star cast!
Golden Boy, haven't seen that one yet, but am recording it now. "Somebody Up There Likes Me" movie about Rocky Graziano with Paul Newman

    Raging Bull
    The Greatest
    Ali
    Rocky
    Million Dollar Baby, etc.

How about Requiem For A Heavyweight with Anthony Quinn? They've shown that a couple of times in the past, and they should replace Million Dollar Baby with the far better Cinderella Man.

No boxing movie marathon is worth its salt without Robert Wise's The Set-Up.

Dude you are relentless for comparing Primo and Deontay. That made my night reading that right there.

Yeah, Requiem for a Heavyweight is a classic, written by Rod Serling (Twilight Zone) Did you know that Anthony Quinn used to be a boxer?

Yeah I did, not a professional though, I love Anthony Quinn, probably one of my favorite actors and Zorba The Greek is one of my favorite films.
