Lots of innocent people are found guilty by the system and are now are still serving life or have been put to death... Again who's right and who's wrong depends your point of view of what you think is right and wrong.

I never said that the info I had on rubin was from his movie. I havent even seen the damn thing. Read it in an old book on the man, written by a close confidante. Could be bull**** or maybe not. Maybe it was a small bull and the animal had a "suspect chin". It is possible cause that man could throw them dogs.

Are u tellin me that racist cops where "fictional" in the 60's. I dont completely belive that the man was innocent just from reading two of his books, or a bob dylan song. However I do not, and rightfully so I might add, trust in the american justice system, because they are a bunch of corrupt ****S.

I don't know if he was framed or committed the crime. He very well may have done it. He was a badd assss, and may have wanted to get back at the whites for some injustice served upon him. I was not debating his innocence however, just stating a "myth/rumour" I had read about.

 

So then its bull**** until he "finds" the tape....

The biggest boxing myth I’ve heard is that in the first meeting between Ali (then Clay) and Henry Cooper, Dundee ripped the tape around Ali’s glove in between rounds, causing a delay of x amount of minutes (depending on who tells the story - I was told 5 minutes), allowing Ali to recover from his knockdown at the end of the previous round before going on to win.

I know LOADS of general sports fans who don’t really follow boxing that much who reckon this is a cast iron fact just because so many people have heard it then repeated it - I believed it too until a couple of years ago!

 

about rubin carter , i heard he was never actually acquitted of any charges
they just lacked the proof that he had done the deed

 

again it depends on what you want to believe is true , if thats what you want to believe then believe it .. but like I said the Law has never been fair not even to the innocent ,, but this is a discussion for the lounge not here .

 

Not quite ,, it does however confirms that Ray and Roy did spar at one time.

 

I think Angelo Dundee said something like Primo Carnera would wrap a rubber band around his ***** while he was sleeping so if he had a wet dream he would wake up before he could blow his load. I mean girls probably do weaken legs but thats pretty sick.
