Mayweather vs. Hatton or Pacquaio would be the most compeling fights in the sport, but no matter how great a boxer or any person involved in boxing is no one person is greater than the sport. Yes boxing would be beter with Mayweather but it dose not need him.

He plays many rolls during a fight and he adds much needed drama to the sport ... without him the sport seems dull, with him you have a guy that you love to hate and a guy that keeps you guessing.

first, he should of fought margo in the first place, no ands, ifs, or buts, second the hatton fight was floyd's toughest fight in a while and it was vs. a smaller, less skillful fighter than himself, and third, pac just obliterated the same man that gave floyd fits in his last fight! all of a sudden oscar got old? pac handled that ass in ways floyd never could. are you blind? for the most part, mexicans don't like pussies running around the ring running from the fight, that's why they don't like floyd or oscar for those reasons. believe me, they know who tyson is over there in mexico.

I do agree, boxing is better w/ Floyd. But only if he's making real fights. not just paycheck fights w/ artifial HBO produced hype.

B-hop 3. margo in case you didn't see it the first time. how am i biased when i have pacman aka the mexicutioner and B-hop as my top 2? atsch i've mentioned this before in other threads i don't deny what floyd has done at the lighter weights, but because pac thrashed oscar the floyderettes are coming up with every possible excuse to dilute pac's performance and what he might do to floyd if they met. floyd WAS supposed to beat oscar. manny wasn't, but he did in much better fashion than floyd. live with it
