with the latest Fielding farce i reckon its time for boxing to move with the times and improve on boxers weights ,weigh-ins and more specifically for me,their actual fighting weights...it cannot be right a man is fighting someone 10 or even 20 % more come fight night?the boxer who is making the weight properly has actually got a handicap!

also with the emergence of the new super giant heavyweight there needs to be at least one more weight division, the jump for someone like Haye is quite ridiculous . so perhaps a 250lb limit for heavyweights and over 250 is super heavys?

while i am at it judging also needs to be brought up to date but i am ****ed if i have the answers to that, or the weight issues hahah

Dont think a new heavyweight division, Haye is a cruiserweight if he wants to move up he knows the risk

The weight issue has gotten worse since they moved away from same day weighins. But I don't think it will return because of fights getting cancelled (is loss of money) because of it.

The Super Heavyweight issue just isn't an issue at all.
If guys like Haye don't wanna fight against bigger guys, then just fight at Cruiserweight, wich has been the weight for the 'just not big enough' guys for many years now.
Heavyweight has always been the weight for the biggest and strongest out there. No limits is what made it the weightclass of kings. For 'little guys' like Haye it has been a choice (yes he can easily make 200 if he's only like 210-215) to fight there. It's just about the money and fame.

There are already too many weightclasses, wich is one of the reasons the not making weight issue is there.

    forget Haye,
if someone is 6foot2 and 16 stone now they have no chance against these 19 stone ,6 foot 9 giants....let the giants/superheavys fight each other and let the fitter 6 footish ,16 stone ish boxers fight it out....

i think these missmatches in size is helping kill the heavyweight division

i see your points actually but jumping from 200 lb cruiser to fighting 290 lb giants aint really helping the boxers or viewers

im sticking with my 250lb limit for heavyweights , it will encourage the lardy type like chisora of a couple of years ago to get in shape and let the giants fight each other

The weight limits could possibly be adjusted but the heaviest weight must always be called heavyweight, installing a super heavyweight division will never get support.
The tiny differences between smaller weights could easily be increased. The 25lb from light heavy to cruiser is a big gap.
