you still have no answer why Golden Boy hides this guy? so he wont be nationally laughed at by the 5 foot 7 clowns he got his 27-0 27 ko record from?

Steward also said Tyson Fury was the number 1 contender and would hold the heavyweight crown.

yeah, sure. i knew it was wise to ignore you as a poster when you claimed i was wrong about Helenius being lazy with his work rate, and that he needed to pick it up.

then after his fight against Williams, you agreed with what i was saying (not with me personally, with another poster)

so if your that dim to not see the absolute obvious, then what you've got to say is non and void. plus the crap you talk on other topics is laughable. just like the one we're discussing about Wilder.

the man doesn't control range in any way shape or form. he has a dodgy chin. his balance is poor, as is his overall movement.

so as i say, you're looking at a completely different fighter to the one i'm watching. so it's clear i know a hell of a lot more about boxing than you ever will. :hi:

America's best heavyweights are Johnson and Cunningham

    ?

the fact that there are not many (if any) High School boxing programs, and almost no boxing gyms left even in major cities, is NOT conjecture.

Give it a rest, already. You're like a pitbull with an old, fossilized bone that isn't even worth eating.

Come on, Cunningham? I'd say Jennings, Wilder, Arreola, Banks and Mitchell in that order.

I rank Malik Scott above Mitchell, despite his lack of power. - Probabky even ahead of Banks, though that's a tough call.

Seth Mitchell is done. He's in the same league as Mago and Spiz.

Fury already punked out once, is there any debating that?

I forgot about him. He's solid and a better all around fighter than Mitchell, but I think Mitchell knocks him out h2h. Lets see how Seth does when he gets back in the ring before writing him off. He'll never be great, but with the lack of depth and talent in the division he may still become a player.

Completely disagree with your assessment of the Klitschko's (IMO Wlads a top 10 all time HW boxer, Vitaly top 15 or 20) but I agree with Wilder.

It will be interesting to see an American contender rise from the ashes after all these years, and although I was skeptical of his chin and future, I like what I see so far and think he may be a really good fighter.

I'm not making any predictions yet, I want to see how he does when he steps up (just like I did for Price, who turned out to be a hypejob; and no Audley Harrison is not a step up) before that, but so far he looks like the real deal.

It doesn't work that way. Boxing isn't a part time seasonal sport, nor is it physically compatible with sports like US football. You don't play other sports AND Box.

If you are a father who is 6' or more, remotely athletic, and have a son who is 5 what do you do with him? Box? Where? There is nowhere for him to learn. From 5 up there are leagues for both basketball and football. That is where kids go.

Who cares what you believe? If your nonsense was true, why do Americans continue to compete at weights too low for football and basketball? All the talent 160 and up just dried up? I will tell you why. Those kids with no hope of playing regular sports focus on Boxing. Hell some top level Boxers can still play high level ball, e.g., RJJ, FMJ. Also, you even see evidence of this in the rise of the Eastern Europeans. All from strong organized formerly communist PROGRAMS or Boxing cultures.

Don't worry. Boxing is making a huge comeback in the US. Now it is even back on network TV. My guess is we will see more US talent in the coming years. Mayweather has done phenomenally.

Still waiting for someone to mention prison as a factor for the U.S. losing their God given birth-right.

    NFL
    NBA
    Prison

    With polotics rising fast...LOL

He probably wouldn't do well. Boxing requires a guy who is more physical.

I would lean more towards guys like Shaq, Antonio Gates, Ray Lewis, etc... i.e., centers, power forwards, linebackers, safeties, physical running backs, tight ends, etc...

All of the Boxing big men are in the NFL and NBA, but all the men in the NFL and NBA wouldn't necessarily make good Boxers.

What nonsense is this? Can Canelo fight? Was he hidden away? The K brothers were around during the last HW era. Why didn't they just cross the pond and dive in? C'mon man.

He is still very young by HW standards. He is learning his craft due to being a VERY late starter by Boxing standards. At this point all we can ask for is progress and I think we are seeing it.

You are putting a dub on this.

This is probably also true to an extent. The US has seen a decrease in crime but a massive increase in incarceration. Especially of Black males.

Only reason I would rate it at a lower degree is most of those guys are in for drugs. Jail out of the equation, they probably would just use more dope versus find Boxing.
