BOXING NEEDS MORE EXCITING FIGHTS

boxing is business and entertaiment. I respect the rankings and the best should fight against the best. But if there are more exciting matchups and guarantee fireworks. I'm more interested in that stuff.

boxing is science yes. But science is quite boring. Many hardcore boxing fans and experts are too hardcore and go blind in process.

i like some old ass wooping matches. Where dudes come to fight. Then i'm satisfied.

Nowadays ufc maybe is moving in right direction. Accept it's entertaiment. More risktakers will generate more excitiment. We don't want to see chess when two people are fighting. We want to see blood and broken bones. Why we accept "boring" boxing?

one of the reasons Conor is so huge because he takes insane match and fights are super exciting. Usually comes with brutal finish too. I mean that's entertaiment.

Boxing is better as a circus show. Promotores should stop playing in the middle. And sanctioning bodies. Why they refuse to give more entertaiment?there are 1000x match that would be awesome. Some little crazy. But i would pay to see. And so would be millions.

good for boxers like Floyd. But c'mon. I'm not interested to see Floyd fights. Nobody is. It's science. This Conor route should be the next standard. Fight in exciting manner. That's one of the reasons to Conor rise. More boxers should go fight. If they want to earn the big $$$. boxers who only box for points. Should be banned from tv. Or come with a warning. I live here one time,and i want to have a good time and spend it wisely. So when opening tv i want entertaiment.

only reason they are interested because of that 0. And he has build this easy to hate charachter. Just look this forum. And more boxers now try to follow this route. And it's 100 wrong. And shows just how stupid and beta most boxing "fans" are.

Fantasy matchups should be real always to entertain people. Now we are satistfied with these half ass matches.


Usa is all about entertaiment. The sports too. I watch NBA and NHL . those are entertaining products.

boxing could be so much bigger. Because yes. People just enjoy seeing badass fights. Bring more entertaiment.


Boxing hardcores are weird in some way. I mean boxing was popular long time ago. It was entertaiment. Now other sports have caught the cap. And boxing has become inside sweet science over gladiator days.

Extreme brutality and boxing will rise. However where to find those all crazy dudes. Problem because other sports pay too good.

Actually it's too late to save anything. Money rules and effects every choice. It will only go worse and keep going smaller. Everything affects everything DAMN.

seriously don't understand why is so bad thing to be entertained?no ladder matches. No ufc. No WWF. Exciting boxing and ass kicking.


and yes we don't know if the fight is going to deliver or not. But manytimes they are affraif to lose. Then the sharks will eat you alive. I value entertaiment over win/loss. And in generally in all sports you value entertaiment over result. Who would watch basketball if it's constructed and build to be chess. Sport series are entertaiment. Boxing fans and some of you don't seem to get my point at all.

I don't care that much who will win. I'm more about excitment and seeing someone getting KO'ed.

i watch other sports because those are entertaining. Not because somebody has to win no matter what

i understand you support someone more than other. But it's not your wife. Maybe i'm just too selfish.


and this thread is not to bash anybody. I understand that people like rankings and seeing who is the best. But in sport of boxing. Manytimes that has producted dull fights with little action.


Boxing is brutal sport. People are intrigued by brutality.

Example basketball has changed rules to become more entertaining. Boxing should in my opinion too change rules and the structure.
