Boxing News 24 is an absolutely disgraceful website. Disregard anything you read on it instantly. Anyone who believes what is written or agrees with any articles written on that website is a fool.

That's what I immediately thought, but Gilfag only downs Euro fighters. Hell, anyone non-American.

I figured it wasn't Dave Lahr either because he's another pen name for someone who compulsively bashes Pacquiao and not really anyone else.

That site occasionally has people that write well researched articles. It's all free submission. I even wrote a few articles about a year ago.

He'll beat the hell out of Vera, who isn't adaptable or mobile enough to beat Pavlik. It won't mean much, but at least he'll be on the comeback trail again. Is this at 168? If it is, the most important thing is obviously for him to get settled at the weight.

I can't see him doing well at the weigh though. He's a very big MW. He's still big in stature at super-middle, but I think his heavy hands and physical strenght and presence won't be as much of a factor. I can't see him beating the likes of Bute, Kessler, Froch, Ward or Dirrell at their best.

contracted weight is 164. they're using it to gauge how he feels and see if he can keep making middleweight.

    Damn! Ya got got me:yep

Me reading that site appeals to the same instinct that causes one to slow down and gawk at a train wreck: morbid curiousity!

And yes, that is an atrocious article on young David, but one should not expect better from Chris Williams.

Read at another site from some poster whose from Ohio that claimed one of his friend's saw Pavlik at a bar last week. Pavlik was getting wasted with his friends and acting like a real *******.

If true, Pavlik is going to have his hands full with someone like Vera.
