Boxing News, although I am biased as I have never got Boxing Monthly - I might start getting both though.
I get them bothe every week/every month. Boxing Monthly is still good however a lot of the time by the time it comes out half the news is already old, half of the previews the fights have already past and its aimed more and more toward the casual fan. No amateur action, little action from the unknown fighters or the up and comers (unless they are english) Boxing News is the biz :good
Boxing Monthly is better written in my opinion and has less pages I never read (South African results/**** fight round-ups/Old Timers etc), but as with any monthly can be out of date quickly - especially this summer with the spate of abandoned fights. That said I have bought Boxing News more in last 12 months.
I like Boxing Monthly. Nice write up last month on Floyd Marquez and an "interesting" article written by Fury's Dad, guy sounds like he was a ****ing animal in his day.
i get both plus the ring miss goes mad but i need my fix.read them every night in bed chills me out .
I get both. Boxing News probably has the edge because being a weekly publication it is more up to date. Saying that Boxing Monthly can be a more interesting read because it has more packed in, seeing that it can take in a month's worth of material. I'd say if your looking to get down into the minutae of detail about what's going on then grab the Boxing News. If you want a good general overview then plug for Boxing Monthly.
I used to get both, but in the internet age - I have BN on subscription (Friday is a bad day when it does not arrive) I read Monthly in WH Smiths for free
