Boxing monthly has better articles, is better written and is probably a more enjoyable read. That said, I get Boxing News - up to date, a good weekly read and very informative. I wish they did more profile stuff on current boxers but not too many arguments other than that.
I get my Mum to buy me a BM subscription every year for Xmas - saves getting socks of something that I don't want. I can take of leave BN - some weeks are prettty slow especially in the summer.
I regularly buy both magazines and would agree with this comment. Boxing News is obviously best for the up-to-date info and fight previews, but Boxing Monthly tends to have the better articles. Both good value for money (especially compared to The Ring), so I don't mind picking them both up.
both indispensible for me. I stopped subscribing to BN when more and more bills moved to a friday and pick it up from the newsagents now.
boxing news subscription, but monthly has some good articles and you will always find some interesting stuff in there so is worth picking up.
Both magazines have the worst editors in the history of boxing: Claude Abrams can barely write while Glyn Leach lets Graham Houston do all his writing. I'm old enough to remember when the mags were run by real boxing writers - not fans.
