Boxing News today did their previews of Burns Martinez and Smith Simpson They pick Burns to last the distance but Martinez to retain on points They also pick Simpson to beat Smith with Smith taking an early lead but Simpsons workrate being the deciding factor in the later rounds to win by decision. Interesting picks as i thought Burns wouldnt be able to stand Martinez's power and I pick Smith to beat Simpson Any thoughts?
Good to see you back rob my thoughts exactly i think Burns loses around the sixth and Smith outpoints Simpsons comprehensively. Boxing News were questioning if Martinez is as powerful as his record suggests as he went the distance with Walter Estrada whom Kevin Mitchell bombed out in 5 but i have to say i think Martinez is vulnerable defensively but Burns's power wont trouble him and he will land some hurtful shots of his own after a few rounds of feeling him out
