1. There was an article headed who is the hardest hitter in boxing. All the experts discussed Matthew Hatton. 2. They said the WBC had stripped Martinez & Berto of their belts because of comments by Dibella. This week the published corrections. The hardest hitter heading was a typo which should have been headed will M Hatton win a world title, and the Dibella article was taken from a satirical website.
The previous weeks edition discussed the hardest hitters..someone just forgot to change the heading. A lot of people picked up on Thomas Hausers satirical article on secondsout and considering how the WBC does business it doesn't seem too far fetched to believe it!
I noticed that, there are also a lot of little mistakes and spelling errors, doesn't seem very professional.
this is the saddest thread I've read in ages. How many of you have ever worked for a proper magazine?
That's a bit harsh, I read it cover to cover every week and there really are quite few mistakes. Any factual errors are usually corrected the following week. We all know it's a small team that puts out boxing news and I think they do a great job.
You criticise small errors in a magazine that's weekly, is of a really high quality and made by about six people. That's really petty. If you'd worked for a magazine you'd realise how difficult it is.
"Please do not post anymore content of Boxing This content is protected News Online stories, references to their stories or links to their stories anywhere on eastsideboxing.com." Even if it is to point out that they've dropped a bollock.:nono You never get errors like that in Boxing Monthly:think
